ONE LOOK. YOUR CHARACTER.The grain of
film.
Grain isn’t an afterthought. Classic offers restrained texture with cleaner shadows. Textured gives more pronounced texture across shadows and midtones. Silver offers fine grain modeled on Tri-X scans and remains experimental.
CONTRAST / GRAIN / INTENSITYA matter of
proportion.
Choose your focal-length framing and compose in 3:4 or 4:5 for photos. Higher-resolution capture is available on supported cameras; output size depends on your device and framing.
INTENTIONAL, NOT COMPLICATED.Made for
motion.
Bring your monochrome perspective to video. Connect a companion iPad or iPhone as a monitor when you want to see the frame from the other side of the camera.

All grain examples use the same 34% amount and fixed random seed for comparison; equal amounts produce different textures. Lens shading uses the app’s 35mm f/1.4 map at 0% or 100%. The B&W starting point adds no grain; texture already in the source remains. These are full-resolution app-pipeline renders, with enlarged pixel detail and no website grain overlay.
